NEW THIS SEASON, AVC offers TRAVEL TEAMS
Girls 16/17 Travel: Coach Monica Haynes and Coach Hannah Melchner
Girls 15U Travel: Coach Jill Labrador and TBD
Girls 14U Travel: Coach Christine Irwin, Coach All Orr, Team Rep & Travel Team Coach Christine Byrne

TRAVEL TEAM INFORMATION:

• Membership fee approximately $3,500
• Play to Win philosophy, playing time at coach’s discretion
• Roster size 12 players, two coaches
• Practices 3x per week beginning in November
• Practices 2x per week in the Spring through May
• Tentative Competition Schedule may include: Multi-day events (National Harbor Showdown, Charm City Challenge, Capitol Hill Classic, USAV NEQ, Shamrock Showdown, East Coast Championships), and Single day in-Region events, CHRVA Regionals.
• Primary practice locations/days: Benfield Sportscenter (Thursday night), Pip Moyer Recreation Center (Sunday afternoon), TBD (Monday or Tuesday night)
• Three jerseys, one personalized; spandex bottoms, sweat top, and practice t-shirt
• AVC Team Store. Purchase of additional AVC apparel/gear is optional
• Training from experienced, background screened, and SafeSport certified coaches, including former USAV Club players, former NCAA volleyball players, and former NCAA coaches.
• Individual skill development and cross training among multiple AVC teams and coaches
• Strength Training Clinic
• Introduction to Beach Volleyball Clinic (Spring). AVC Summer Beach Program, optional (additional fee)
• Collegiate Recruitment Informational Session and advisement
• General liability insurance covering all USAV and AAU/JVA sanctioned events
• Team Welcome and End of Season recognition. Additional activities and socials at discretion of team members and coach

REGIONAL TEAM INFORMATION:

• All team members will play in tournament competition. Playing time at coach’s discretion
• Roster size 12 players, two coaches
• Practices 2x per week beginning in November through early May
• Tentative Competition Schedule includes: New this Season, Multi-day National Harbor Showdown, Single day in-Region events approximately 1 per month, and CHRVA Non-Bid Regionals
• Primary practice locations/days: Benfield Sportscenter (Thursday night), Pip Moyer Recreation Center (Sunday afternoon) 
• Two jerseys, one personalized; spandex bottoms and practice t-shirt
• AVC Team Store. Purchase of additional AVC apparel/gear is optional
• Training from experienced, background screened, and SafeSport certified coaches, including former USAV Club players, former NCAA volleyball players, and former NCAA coaches
• Individual skill development and cross training among multiple AVC teams and coaches

• No required fundraising or parental volunteer assignments
